Amazingly, I have filled out three requests so far, despite really not expecting to participate. Pleasingly however, my fandom has not disappointed me in its general excellent sense of fun, weridness and drunken silliness so there's been plenty to go at that doesn't require crazy amounts of porn. Which is lucky, since I've so far got away with a comedy piece and a borderline horror story.
I've also cracked up many times reading some of the stuff other folks have written. I will never think of Larry and Samurai Dogs quite the same again and the Edgeworth/Wright cybersex stories were sheer genius. Kudos also to the AU writer who took up the challenge of setting a story in Imperial Japan with samurai and pulled it off with great beauty.
Thanks to the two lovely people who filled out my requests for (very tame) stuff with good grace. I'm glad that the prospect of handling a story about Miles' phobia of elevators tempted someone back into writing fanfic after a long hiatus and whoever wrote me the little vignette about school-age Larry, Miles and Phoenix discussing dating behind the bikesheds wins a whole raft of Internets for cuteness. My last request I fear will go unfilled which is a shame - maybe I'll have to write it myself.
Now I just have to throw off the temptation of answering the Edgeworth-as-Jane-Austen hero request or the Genderswitch request, or the Happy Retired Couple request, or the Funny Bad Sex request or ... and get back to my serious storyficcing. It's been fun blowing off steam writing some fun stuff in three different genres for a few days though I must say.
