... I should probably have mentioned yesterday that while I've been gone we have acquired a new car (last one went bangy-bang just before computer went bangy-bang). It was a sad day when I had to leave my trusty old Megane on that forecourt all abandoned and forlorn. Sob.
But ... we now drive a superbly uncool and yet fabulously appropriate Citroen Berlingo Desire. The BEST dogmobile and DIYmobile in the world with 12 volt sockets in every orifice so it's all set for a gaming party.
Sadly as I was buying second hand I didn't get the Neptune Blue one I originally was after and had to settle for a silver one. This means I HAVE ONLY EVER OWNED SILVER CARS. That makes me slightly dull, I suspect. Silver isn't even a real colour - it's an effect.
Also, we seem to have acquired another dog. I have no idea how that happened *whistles innocently* but Rosie joined our menagerie earlier in the year and now rules it in the way that only a saluki princess truly could.
I will try to get some pics up of her demanding tribute as soon as I have enough time.
Lastly, I was put on permanent contract at work rather than temporary, which is excellent news, obviously - and it happened just before the car broke down so that was one lucky timing situation.
